What are the factors that affect the frequency response characteristics of vibration sensors?

Bearing vibration measuring instrumentIt is the basis for research and control of bearing vibration. By studying the influence of various factors on the frequency response characteristics of the vibration sensor, it provides an experimental basis for improving the working characteristics of the vibration sensor and improving the vibration measurement technology of the bearing. Through repeated experiments and comparisons, the following points are summarized:

(1) Influence of the vibration rod material

The resonant frequency of the sensor measured by the vibrating rod and gasket of different materials is different, and the greater the elastic modulus of the material, the higher the resonant frequency of the sensor.

(2) Influence of the contact form of the vibration transmission rod

Compared with the point contact commonly used in actual production, it is found that the sensor will get a higher resonant frequency when the line contact is consistent with other conditions.

(3) Influence of preload

Whether it is point contact or line contact, the pretightening force has no significant effect on the resonance frequency in the range of 2N16N, and reducing the pretightening force can reduce the influence on the vibration state of the bearing, which is beneficial to the detection of bearing vibration.

(4) Influence of equivalent quality

The point contact sensor relies on reducing the equivalent mass to increase the resonant frequency, and the change range is very small; the line contact sensor can significantly increase the resonant frequency by reducing the equivalent mass.

(5) Influence of contact surface ink

When there is oil or grease on the measuring contact surface, the contact stiffness between the vibration transmission rod and the contact surface increases, the resonance frequency increases, the greater the viscosity of the oil, the more obvious the effect, and the greater the effect of the grease, this effect, the line contact sensor is better than the point contact sensor. The sensor works great.
